CLASS 1 - FOOD DIVISION

Rules and Regulations:
- All exhibits will be judged on appearance, texture and flavour unless otherwise noted.
- All exhibits in competition in this class must be specified or they will not be eligible for competition. Measurements, however, are approximate and are to be used as a guideline.
- In the case of no competition, unless the exhibit is worthy, the prize will be withheld.
- One article cannot be entered in more than one class.
- All entries must be brought in cold.
- Please use a strong plastic or paper plate and seal in a LARGE OR EXTRA-LARGE ziploc bag (no twist ties please). The exhibitor tag should be attached in bottom right corner.
- Any iced cake should be in a box or plastic container rather than bagged.
- Each entry must be made solely by the person entering the competition (including pastry).
**HELPFUL TIP**- Make and freeze ahead of time, in preparation for fair time!
Special prizes:
Judges' Choice Award Winner receives a ribbon The Judges' Choice Ribbon is awarded to the one entry out of all entries in the class that personally stands out to that judge. The purpose of the Judges' Choice is to recognize unique qualities or achievements that may not be captured by the standard scoring systems. Judges' Choice Ribbon winning entries will be displayed in the Judges' Choice hallway display case. |
