To the Community of Thorndale, Volunteers, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and Friends,
Over the past year, we have all experienced challenging and difficult times. We have also learned to appreciate the things we once took for granted. Our safety and the safety of our community has become more important than ever. COVID-19 has changed the world as we knew it. We have all made changes to adapt to the “new norm”.
While things may look very different in the fall, and hopefully be turning around, it is too difficult to book, plan and fundraise for the full fall fair, as we know it. It is with this in mind that the Thorndale Agricultural Society Board of Directors would like to communicate that we have decided to move forward with a modified version of events and competitions for the 2021 Thorndale Fall Fair. While we hope that we will be able to see many you all in person, we will also be planning many virtual competitions and events.
Details are still being worked out. We know that we have the opportunity to be creative and encourage our community and surrounding communities to enjoy non-traditional methods of participating in the Thorndale Fall Fair activities. We are working diligently with our committees to plan and deliver events and competitions though nothing has yet been finalized so please continue to watch our Facebook page and website to keep up to date on all the happenings as we plan to start early!
To all our partners, volunteers and families, we truly appreciate your understanding and thank you for your continued support.
Board of Directors, Thorndale Agricultural Society
