School Fair Rules and Regulations

  1. Entries will be accepted in the Progress Building between the hours of 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm on Thursday, September 24, 2009 only. No Entries after 9:00 pm, no Friday entries. You will be required to fill out a form with name, address, phone #, and school name.
  2. Entries need to be picked up on Sunday, September 27, 2009 after 4:30 pm and before 5:30 pm.
  3. Champion, 1st, and 2nd Runners-up will be the ones with the highest points in the classes, except pets. These children will receive their awards on Friday night. We encourage the parents to support the projects, but allow the children to exhibit their own creative talent.
  4. An Agricultural award will be presented to the student with the highest points in the Agriculture Section (#A1 to C46)
We would appreciate seeing the children as they bring in their entries. Be sure to register at the table in the school Fair Section on the Thursday. All Exhibitors to be in specified grade as of September 2009. All exhibits must be on first showing. All others will be disqualified. All articles must be properly labelled with name and school, and placed in the proper section or they will not be judged. Only one item per person per section. Each entry must be an individual effort. All agricultural & horticultural entries must be grown on the exhibitor’s property and displayed/arranged by the exhibitor. Wild flowers are the exception.

Ribbons will be given to first, second, and third prize in all classes. Monetary awards will be presented at the schools following the fair.
