Junior & Senior Royal

Rules & Regulations
- All food, clothing, arts, crafts & photography must be
exhibitor's own work. Any violation of this rule will result
in forfeiture of prizes, with names and reasons given. This will be
strictly enforced.
- All exhibitors must have an exhibit number - available from Secretary
of the Fair.
- To be eligible to be a Royal, the exhibitor must enter a minimum
of 8 entries. These must include at least 2 sections from each class.
- An exhibitor may enter in only one division, either Junior or Senior.
In each category, the same person may only be a Junior or Senior Royal
once in every 3 years. They are welcome to compete in the category if
they choose to.
- Any person who has been a Junior Royal may try for Senior Royal any
year after winning Junior Royal.
- Judges are authorized to disqualify all soiled, defaced or old work
and are instructed to award prizes to new and up to date work only.
- Exhibitor's age must be shown on entry ticket on top right hand corner.
- Food entries must have tickets firmly attached with a twist tie in
a plastic bag where possible.
Please note the minimum and maximum size requirements so entry will not
be eliminated.

fair baking contest for the new "youth" classes. Great Prizes
to be won!
2010 Junior & Senior Royalty are crowned on Variety Night--Friday,
September 24, 2010
Royal Contest
- Junior Royal - Ages 10 -13
- Senior Royal - Ages 14 - 19 (or previous Junior Royal, see rule 4)
- The total number of points obtained in Clases 1 & 2 and the Committee,
Stoneholm Farm Special, and Computer Art Work Special will count towards
the Junior Royal Award. The total number of points obtained in Classes
3 & 4 and the Committee, Stoneholm Farm Special, and Computer Art
Work Special will count toward the Senior Royal Award.
Special Gifts awarded to Royalty (on the Friday Evening)
- Gift from Marlyn Brady, Crumlin and Thorndale Women's Institutes
- Corsages from Mike & Linda Williamson of Thorndale Mobile Home
Park
- Plaque given by Thorndale Agricultural Society
