Class Eleven - Antiques & Collectibles

Directors: Jo Ann Barnard, Fran Redman

Prizes no. 1 thru 12 - $4, $3, $2

Rules and Regulations

  1. Antiques must be at least 50 years old.
  2. Exhibitor may not enter more than one entry in each section.
  3. Exhibitor should own article exhibited.
  4. Historical interest and approximate age of entry would be appreciated but not necessary for a prize.
  5. Each exhibitor must complete an entry form and return it to the office no later than 12:00 pm on the Friday of the fair.
  6. Article must remain on display until 4:30 pm Sunday of the fair.
  7. All entry tags must be securely fastened to the article exhibited.
  8. Articles to be removed from the display by director to exhibitor for safety reasons.
  9. Antiques will be displayed in secured enclosures.
  10. In fairness to other exhibitors, Antique delers will not be eligible to compete.
  11. **Exhibit not to exceed 16" in height due to cabinet space.**

  2. Jug (crockery, not to exceed 16")
  3. Egg Beater
  4. Tea cup and saucer
  5. Symbolic Jewellery i.e. Lodge pin
  6. Hat
  7. Walking cane
  8. Pattern for needle work
  9. Inkwell
  10. Handsaw
  11. Automobile hood ornament
  12. What is it?? Stump the judge! Article must be under 16". Please identify the item in a sealed envelope.
